Christmas Peak Season Service Information

Our carriers are currently handling significantly higher parcel volumes due to the Christmas peak season. This increased demand may result in minor delays to the pickup and delivery of some shipments. We recommend sending your parcels as early as possible to give them the best chance of arriving before Christmas.

For updates, important cut-off dates, and information about Service Centre trading hours during the holiday period, please refer to the sections below.

Last Sending Dates for Christmas 2025

To help you plan your Christmas deliveries, we’ve published the recommended cut-off dates for domestic and international parcels.

These dates are a guide for shipments booked via Online Self-Service and PACK & SEND Live. They indicate the latest recommended sending dates for standard services.

There is no absolute cut-off date for bookings made in-store. In many cases, your local PACK & SEND Service Centre may be able to arrange faster or urgent services beyond these recommended dates, depending on your destination and service requirements.

Domestic Courier Services During Peak Season

Due to increased parcel volumes across the network, some domestic shipments may experience occasional delays, particularly with carrier pickups. This may affect customers who book online through Online Self-Service or PACK & SEND Live and choose the carrier pickup option.

If you need more control over when your parcel enters the network, you can select the drop-off option during online booking and take your parcel directly to your local PACK & SEND Service Centre. Service Centres have regular daily collections, which can help reduce the chance of delays.

For personalised advice, time-critical shipments, or if you require a specific day and time for your parcel to be sent, we recommend contacting your nearest PACK & SEND Service Centre. Our team can assist with urgent or faster service options where available.

International Courier Services During Peak Season

International shipments may experience minor delays, particularly in regional destinations or countries with high seasonal demand. These delays can affect both online bookings and in-store shipments.

Customers booking online via Online Self-Service or PACK & SEND Live may experience occasional delays with carrier pickups if this option is selected. If you prefer more control, you can choose the drop-off option during online booking and deliver your parcel to your local PACK & SEND Service Centre. Regular daily collections from Service Centres can help minimise delays in getting your shipment into the international network.

If your international shipment is urgent or time-sensitive, please speak with your local Service Centre prior to booking for the best available options, including urgent and faster international services where available.

Important Notes About Seasonal Delays

Parcel delays during the Christmas peak season may occur due to:

  • High parcel volumes across domestic and international networks
  • Weather events affecting transport routes
  • Traffic congestion and capacity constraints
  • Customs processing times for international shipments

Our carrier partners and PACK & SEND Service Centres are working hard to keep parcels moving and delivered as quickly and safely as possible.

Thank you for your patience during this busy period.
