I had shipped some furniture from Perth to Darwin to open the box and find the contents damaged. After further inspection of the box it was shipped in, I found multiple holes and a tire mark across the top of the box of my TV. I called the Darwin store multiple times to try arrange the next steps in remedying the issue to no response. I left multiple messages, but received no reply. After a week of trying to get in contact with the Darwin depot, I finally got in contact with one of the office staff. They had advised that I would have to fill out a claims form and they would be in liaison with the insurance company for a refund. Another week had passed with no update so I decided to call again. I was now in contact with a different employee named Mish who advised me that the previous employee had left the company, as well as the paperwork I had sent through had been lost. Frustratingly, I sent through the paperwork once more and was advised I would receive a phone call confirming that the lodge had been started. Again, no reply. I decided to call the store once more and was in contact with a different employee who advised that the lodge had been claimed. At this point, I have lost all faith with the transparency and honesty of the company. Over the next two weeks, I had called multiple times to seek an update on my claim and was told that they were waiting on a reply from the insurance company. A week passed with no update, so I decided to call again and was greeted by Mish once more. Mish had advised me that all previous employees I had been speaking to no longer work at the company and my claim hadn't been lodged at all. Mish also advised me that they had no copy of my paperwork and I would have to send it through once more. Mish advised me that he would do everything in his power to complete my claim as "he did not want to lose his job". At this point, I had no other option but to send through the paperwork once more and call head office to get some answers. I was now in liaison with Tony who advised that multiple people had left the company and he would prioritise my claim and Tony would personally call me back to confirm everything was moving as intended. At this point, I wanted a refund for the freight of the TV as compensation for the mismanagement of my freight and insurance claim as well as for my time and frustration. I heard from Sarah who had told me that my claim has been confirmed and I asked if there was any update on my request for a refund. Sarah had advised that I would receive a call from Tony (which I didn't receive) to give me the verdict. After a week had passed of no communication from Tony, I decided to call and get an update. Tony had advised me that my request for a refund would be denied and instead offered me compensation of $50. I declined and asked for a refund based on my overall experience, referencing the mismanagement of the Darwin store and my experience a bit of a clown show, Tony replied with "I agree, I have sacked some of those clowns" and advised he would ask his supervisor about the refund. This would have to be the worst experience as a customer I have ever had. There was no communication, I was lied to and I do not feel valued as a customer what so ever. I would not recommend Pack and Send. They way management speak about their staff is shocking.

Pack & Send Darwin made moving my stuff while I'm stuck in lockdown so easy and stress free! I've been stuck in lockdown for over 7 months now unable to go back to Darwin. With my NT work contract ending, I had no idea how I'd be able to get my stuff packed and shipped home. Sarah was so helpful and pleasant to deal with, she arranged for my stuff to be packed, including bubble wrapping my valuables at no extra cost. The shipping cost was the cheapest I found while calling around Darwin too. I only had a couple of boxes and no furniture and with other companies was looking at over $550 for two boxes and at least 4 weeks delay. I received my stuff in 3 business days! I wasn't expecting it to arrive so quickly! Thanks Sarah for your amazing help :) one less thing to stress about in lockdown!!!
