- Bunnings (Hardware chain)
Bunnings Hardware acquired the Hardware House Superstore chain and subsequently closed many of these stores around Australia. PACK & SEND was commissioned to utilise its national network to assist in the return of several thousand pieces of computer equipment from these stores back to a central warehouse. This task involved the pick up of computers and then each piece was required to be thoroughly cleaned. Each computer was then catalogued, professionally packed and freight forwarded to the central warehouse.
- Virgin Blue (Airline)
With only 3 weeks remaining to Christmas, Virgin Blue required the packaging of 2,400 staff Christmas presents with delivery to be made to home addresses in four capital cities. The challenge was made more difficult because each Christmas pack consisted of a number of gifts (wine, cutlery, backpack etc) with each of these components located in different States of Australia. Utilising the advantage of the national network, PACK & SEND was the only company willing and able to satisfy Virgin Blue's time restricted needs to successfully complete this task.

Notebook Depot market and distribute leading edge technology, computer software, hardware and peripherals throughout Australia. Their PC and Service Centre approached PACK & SEND to assist in the efficient returns management process for items that needed repair under warranty. PACK & SEND developed a solution that involved our 'controlled return' process. This process unique to PACK & SEND has allowed Notebook Depot to outsource this total function nationally to PACK & SEND and streamline the process of returns management.

QANTAS airlines faced the challenge of having staff dedicated to daily packaging and courier despatch of items found on their planes and terminals that had been inadvertently left behind by passengers (mobile phones, diaries, suits, bags, laptop computers etc). QANTAS have now outsourced this entire function at all airports throughout Australia to PACK & SEND resulting in cost savings and better service for their customers. QANTAS refers their customers to PACK & SEND, we pick up these 'found items', professionally pack them, prepare and label them, and deliver them as instructed by the QANTAS passenger.

PARCELS - Our International Express Parcel Courier service provides urgent courier delivery of merchandise, to more than 80,000 destinations worldwide. The service includes processing, transit, customs clearance (excluding government charges and taxes) and delivery to the door. Tracking and signed delivery is also provided for added security and peace of mind.
DOCUMENTS - PACK & SEND specialises in the urgent courier delivery to the door to virtually anywhere in the world for items such as tenders, artwork, banking, legal documents, promotional material and business correspondence. Our service includes pick-up, transit, customs clearance (excluding government charges, duties and taxes) and delivery to your door. There is also the option of having delivery to one of our PACK & SEND stores, where you can conveniently pick up your consignment at a time suitable to you.
If the goods you are importing require a professional packaging service before despatch, then your local PACK & SEND store may be able to help you through our relationships with other international packaging companies (not available in all countries).
The pricing for Import Express is agreed in your local currency and protects you against any subsequent exchange rate fluctuations.
Sending Items by Mail
If you have more time to spare, and your product is of low value, then you can pay less by using our Global Mail service - the economical and quality alternative to International Express Courier.
- Parcel Mail
PACK & SEND's Parcel Mail service is ideal for products like CD's and videos, promotional goods, books, product samples, clothes, gifts and non-perishable products.
Our mail service is equivalent to the Airmail service available from Post Offices. The service is available at a competitive price with delivery to any postal address in the world at a transit time of approximately 7 - 12 days.
Only items less than a value of $400 can be sent through the Parcel Mail service. Items valued over $400 should be sent through the International Express Courier service.
The maximum weight limit for Parcel Mail is 30kg. A size limit also applies, which is a maximum length of 1 metre and the 'length + girth' should not exceed 2 metres.

PACK & SEND's Letter Mail service is ideal for printed matter, such as annual shareholder reports, magazines or a direct mail marketing campaign.

We specialise in Less than a Container Load (LCL) shipments, where we consolidate your consignment with numerous other shippers and then economically send your cargo through our network of first class shipping lines.
